MAJOR
DUTIES:
Complete client intakes to determine eligibility and to
provide referrals,
Administer grants and
other funding to include client files, program records,
financial tracking and periodic reporting, Search for and
apply for program funding, Maintain and provide
documentation to assure the funds are expended in compliance
funding source guidelines, Attendance at local, regional
and state meetings, Collaboration with diverse clients, public,
private and non-profit agencies and lending institutions,
Grant administration
to include client files, administrative records, periodic
reporting as required by the various funding sources.

KNOWLEDGE,
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Flexibility, a positive
attitude, enthusiasm and excellent
problem solving skills,
Ability to track and work financial and legal data,
Knowledge of or the ability to learn and administer various social
service programs, Knowledge of state and federal housing
programs including SHIP and CDBG, Excellent writing, computer and
record keeping skills, Present a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance,
Possess excellent oral communication skills, bilingual
(English / Spanish) is preferred, Ability to focus on a single task,
transition quickly and multitask as needed.
MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; an Associate Degree or
higher is
preferred and a valid
Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving
record. A minimum of two years experience of active
participation in housing and social services programs that
must include preparation of work write-ups, maintenance of
records and reports necessary to support social services
and housing activities.
(A comparable amount of training, education, or
experience can be substituted for the minimum
qualifications.)
